About Aurora Schmidt

Hi Guys! 🙂 

My name is Aurora Schmidt and I am the proud owner of two Bichon Frises. Their names are Cookie and Cupcake are my everything and I love them with all of my heart. Like lots of people, I wanted to get a dog but I didn’t want just any dog, I wanted a Bichon Frise.

I did my research and discovered that these dogs were not only adorable but they were also hypoallergenic and non-shedding, which was perfect for me as I have allergies. They are also known to be very friendly, intelligent, and easy to train – perfect for a first-time dog owner like me.

I fell in love with these dogs instantly and knew that I had to have one (or two!) of my own. Cookie and Cupcake are the best dogs I could ever ask for and I am so grateful to have them in my life.

I know that sometimes it looks like I am spoiling them rotten, but I just can’t help it! They are my everything and I want to give them the best life possible. I cannot imagine my life without these charming little dogs, and I am so grateful to have them in it.

When I was a kid, I was begging my parents for a dog, and after lots of whining and persistence, they finally caved. We got a beagle puppy that we named Sadie. She was the best dog ever and I loved her so much. But sadly, That’s how I discovered I was allergic to dogs.

I was heartbroken when we had to rehome her, but I knew it was for the best. I didn’t want to put her through the misery of living with someone who was constantly sneezing and rubbing their eyes!

But even though I couldn’t have a dog of my own, I always loved them. I would often go to my friend’s houses to dog-sit while they were away, and I always had a blast.

So when I moved out of my parent’s house and into my place, I knew that the first thing I was going to do was get a dog. And that’s how I ended up with the two most perfect dogs in the world – Cookie & Cupcake.

It was such great news to even know there were hypoallergenic dogs out there that didn’t make me sneeze! And now, I get to enjoy all the joys of dog ownership without any allergies.

I love my 2 little fluffballs more than anything in the world, and I am so grateful that they came into my life. If you’re thinking about getting a Bichon Frise, then all I can say is do it! You won’t regret it, I promise.
